Enough…

We are losing the very essence of our humanity. The coldness is a result of abject isolation and disconnection. Communicating via text, email, and social media in place of human contact. Actual face to face and physical connection is becoming a ritual of our past. We stopped caring about our future and simply revel in the right now. Consequences be dammed! We’re destroying our planet and our future generation’s chance at survival due to our need for instant gratification. We’re depleting our planets resources, destroying our oceans, and killing off our wildlife without consideration of the impact it has, the lives lost… all caused by discarded plastics that are breaking down into toxic microplastics and nanoplastics, cardboard that decomposes in landfills which produces methane gas, and worst of all, chemicals that are purposely created and then discarded improperly because it’s too costly to discard of safely which is contaminating our water/land. Our livelihood is in immediate danger because the top 5% are ensuring that we stay oppressed while they line they pockets with money they could never spend in their lifetime ×100. Instead of fixing what is broken, ending world hunger, curing what ails us? Their self-serving greed is toxic to those of us whom are less than in their eyes. We are dispensable, unnecessary, irrelevant… We are the weakest link in their eyes. Survival of the fittest and all of that. Where is the compassion, the empathy, the heart in all of this? It’s lacking the oxygen that is so desperately needed which will gradually be snuffed out…

When is enough, enough?
